Fuels

Here at Brigstock Sawmill we produce our own range of Wood Briquettes and process our air dried oak off-cuts into a extremely low moisture content fuel creating a dense, high heat output firewood. These products can be used in multi-fuel stoves, open fires and boilers. We also import fuel products to complete our range of fuels.

Our imported products include Namibian firewood which we ship into the UK via Capetown, South Africa. These African logs typically contain only 0-1% moisture, providing a super high density log that is easy to light and which will burn for extended periods of time.

We also supply kiln dried firewood which has a moisture content of around 18%. This kiln dried firewood guarantees the a similar performance every time it is used, and is a favourite with pizza parlours and grill chefs.

Brigstock Sawmill is part of a group of companies which includes probably the largest independent supplier of solid fuels in the UK, and is able to supply almost all coals and solid fuels for delivery nationwide, at some of the lowest prices in the industry!
